JEUveau.
The modern neurotoxin designed exclusively for aesthetics — one job, done well. A favorite for first-time patients and a fresh option for experienced ones. Trained injectors, conservative dosing, complimentary 2-week touch-up.
Built for aesthetics, from day one.
Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) is a botulinum toxin type A made by Evolus. Like Botox, it temporarily relaxes the small facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles — the lines that show when you smile, frown, or raise your eyebrows.
What sets Jeuveau apart is its focus. Most botulinum products started life as therapeutic drugs and later expanded into cosmetic use. Jeuveau was the first neurotoxin designed, studied, and FDA-approved (2019) exclusively for aesthetics. It's manufactured with Evolus's Hi-Pure™ purification process and priced to compete — which is part of why it has become a favorite for first-time toxin patients.
Results typically appear within 2–7 days — many patients notice first effects on the earlier end — and last 3–4 months.
Four brands, one honest recommendation.
At Reviv Med Spa in Millbrae, Jeuveau is administered by our Medical Director Dr. Gayle Misle, MD, and our Aesthetic Nurse Megan Sosnick, RN — both with extensive training in neurotoxin injection technique. Every consultation starts with a face-to-face assessment: how your face moves, where lines form, and what outcome feels right for you.
We carry all four major neurotoxin brands — Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau — so our recommendation is matched to your face and history rather than to a single product line. The difference between a great result and a frozen one is dosing and placement, not the logo on the vial.
The treatment itself is a series of micro-injections taking 10–15 minutes. No anesthesia, no downtime — most patients drive themselves back to work. We recommend staying upright for 4 hours and skipping vigorous exercise for 24 hours, and we schedule a complimentary 2-week touch-up assessment to fine-tune dosing.
Six areas, one toolkit.
Jeuveau's FDA-approved indication is glabellar (frown) lines; experienced injectors commonly treat the other areas below as well-established off-label uses. In your consultation we'll identify which areas would benefit most for your goals.
Glabellar lines
The "11s" between the eyebrows — Jeuveau's FDA-approved indication and the most-requested first area.
Forehead lines
Horizontal lines that appear when you raise your brows.
Crow's feet
Lines around the outer eyes that show with smiling.
Bunny lines
Diagonal creases across the nose bridge when you scrunch.
Lip lines
Vertical lines around the mouth — perioral softening.
Masseter
Jawline slimming and TMJ / clenching relief.

- 03
Dosing is generally considered comparable to Botox unit-for-unit, so a familiar treatment translates directly.
- 04
Pricing is per unit and quoted in writing at consultation. No surprise charges, no day-of upsells.
From day zero, to day fourteen.
Treatment day. 10–15 min of micro-injections. No anesthesia, no downtime — drive yourself back to work.

Effects build. Lines continue to soften as the muscle relaxes.
Full effect. Complimentary touch-up assessment — we fine-tune dosing if anything looks asymmetric or under-treated.
What it actually costs.
Jeuveau pricing at Reviv is per unit, with dosing generally comparable to Botox unit-for-unit. Most first-treatments use 20–40 units across the upper face. Final cost depends on the areas treated and the dosing your face requires — quoted in writing at consultation, before any treatment begins.

What people say about Reviv.
Yesterday was my first appointment at Reviv for Jeuveau and lip filler. I had a great experience with Dr. Misle and the entire team.… She let me know what to expect during each step of the process and even explained the type of techniques she would use.
I've been to quite a few places for Botox. This spa is by far the best I have ever experienced. The staff is warm & friendly. The Dr is so personal & friendly it took me a while to realize she is the Dr!!…
I've been to Reviv a few times this year in preparation of my wedding and I will certainly go back to see Dr. Gayle and the staff at Reviv for the foreseeable future.… Dr. Gayle is wonderful and she always remembers me when I come in.
Frequently asked.
What is the difference between Jeuveau and Botox?
Both are botulinum toxin type A and work the same way — they relax the small muscles that create expression lines. Jeuveau (by Evolus) is the newer product, FDA-approved in 2019 as the first neurotoxin developed exclusively for aesthetic use. Results, dosing, and duration are broadly comparable; some patients report noticing Jeuveau's onset slightly earlier.
What does "aesthetic-only" mean?
Most botulinum products began as therapeutic drugs and expanded into aesthetics. Jeuveau was designed, studied, and FDA-approved specifically and only for aesthetic treatment of glabellar (frown) lines. Same molecule family — a purely cosmetic focus.
How long does Jeuveau last?
Typically 3–4 months, comparable to other neurotoxins. First effects are often noticed within 2–3 days, with full effect around day 14. We schedule a complimentary 2-week touch-up assessment to fine-tune if needed.
Is Jeuveau FDA approved?
Yes. Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs, by Evolus) was FDA-approved in 2019 for moderate to severe glabellar lines. It's manufactured using Evolus's Hi-Pure™ purification process.
How much does Jeuveau cost?
Pricing is per unit; dosing is generally comparable to Botox unit-for-unit, with most first-treatments using 20–40 units across the upper face. Request a consultation for an exact written quote — we do not surprise patients with unexpected charges.
Is Jeuveau good for first-time patients?
Yes — it's one of the most popular choices for first treatments. Its aesthetics-first positioning and competitive pricing make it an approachable entry point, and conservative first-treatment dosing is our default regardless of brand.
Can I switch to Jeuveau from another brand?
Yes. The products work the same way, and we track what you received, at what dose, and how it performed — so switching brands doesn't mean starting over.
Is there downtime?
No. You can drive home or back to work. Avoid lying flat, facial massage, vigorous exercise, and saunas for 24 hours. Small bumps at the injection sites fade within an hour.
Who should not get Jeuveau?
Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have certain neuromuscular disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis), or who are allergic to any of the ingredients. We screen at consultation. If you have questions about whether Jeuveau is right for you, ask us.
